It all began in 2017 and the musical journey continues to this day…

Aidan Ramos has been involved with music ever since 2015 when he joined his middle school beginner band and began writing music in 2016. His first debut came with a premiere of his first small chamber work in 2016 entitled “Grandfather Clock” acting as a short prelude for his middle school Christmas concert. Later that same year would come the premiere of his first large ensemble work “Tribute for Knights” which was a piece written to honor Dr. Joe J. Bernal Middle School for being the catalyst for his love of music and the beginning of a wonderful career.

As of 2022, Aidan is a current student at the University of Texas at San Antonio School of Music where he is pursuing his B.M in Music Composition. As well as being a good student, he has been able to compose music for the ensembles he has been involved with including 2 pieces for the UTSA Boom Squad “Concertino for Tuba Ensemble” and “Portrait of a Flower”. To this day he has received many commissions from his fellow classmates and continues to write and study.

As well as being a successful student composer, Aidan has been involved in many ensembles at UTSA including the University Band, Symphonic Band, UTSA Boom Squad/Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble, and UTSA Brass Quintet.
